<p>The invention concerns a device for avoiding children's fingers being nipped in the aperture between the door frame and the door at the hinges. The device is made up of several panels of flexible or semirigid material (1) which are fixed by side plates (2) for instance by bonding, to the door by one of its ends, and to the door frame by the other end. Once it is fixed, the device is deformed according to the opening and closing movements of the door. Thus, it shifts from a U-shaped configuration when the door is closed to a relatively flat configuration when the door is open.</p> |
