<p>A device for sampling of and separating of liquid from a compressible, liquid-containing sample comprises a sleeve member (2) defining a space (2) for supporting the liquid-containing sample. The space (21) has a first mouth (22) in a first end (19) and a second mouth (23) in a second end (20) of the sleeve member (2). Furthermore, the device comprises a conduit member (1), which has an internal conduit (7) for conveying the separated liquid. The conduit (7) has an inlet (9) and an outlet (11), which inlet (9) leads into a first side (10) and which outlet (11) leads into a second side (13; 14) of the conduit member (1). The conduit (7) has a cross-sectional area which is substantially smaller than the cross-sectional area of the space (21), and the inlet (9) of the conduit (7) is in communication with the second mouth (23) of the space (21). The device also comprises a compression means (3), which comprises means (25) for closing the space (21) at the first mouth (22) and means (25; 1) for filling this space (21). The first end (19) of the sleeve member (2) is provided with an extraction means (24), whereby the sleeve member (2) is insertable into a compressible material with the first end (19) facing the same for achieving said extraction of the compressible sample.</p> |
