<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run capable of reducing impact sounds produced with a door lowered slightly. <P>SOLUTION: This glass run is fitted to the door of a vehicle, and has an approximately U-shaped cross sectional groove section 4 for guiding a vertically moving door glass 3. Lip sections 9, 10 to be in slidable contact with the door glass 3 are formed on the inner walls of both side wall sections 6, 7 among two side walls sections 6, 7 forming the groove section 4 and a connection wall section 8 for connecting the side wall sections 6, 7 to each other. At least one lip section 10 is extended from the approximately center of the side wall section 7, and a projection 20 is arranged between the side wall end section S of the side wall section 7 and the base section T of the lip section 10 extended from the approximately center, and is locally brought into substantial-point contact with the door glass 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
