<p>PURPOSE: An antibacterial coloring agent and an ink composition containing the coloring agent for an inkjet printer are provided, to improve storage stability of an ink without side effect due to the addition of an antibacterial material. CONSTITUTION: The antibacterial coloring agent is obtained by combining an antibacterial material and a coloring agent. Preferably the antibacterial material is a carbendazim derivative of the formula 1 or a silane derivative, wherein R1 is H, OH, an amino group, a carboxyl group or its salt, a sulfonyl group or its salt, or a phosphoryl group or its salt; and R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7 are independently H, a halogen atom, a nitro group, a cyano group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group of C1-C30, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group of C1-C30, a substituted or unsubstituted alkylthio group of C1-C30, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group of C6-C20, a substituted or unsubstituted arylalkyl group of C6-C20, a substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkyl group of C1-C30, a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group of C6-C30, or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroarylalkyl group of C6-C30. The ink composition comprises the antibacterial coloring agent; an aqueous liquid medium; and/or an additive.</p> |
