摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize the electric power of an assembled battery, increase the travel distance of an electric vehicle, and prolong the life of the battery by detecting temperature of each battery of the assembled batter for the electric vehicle, correcting detected temperature, determining the lower limit total voltage of the assembled battery according to the dispersion range of the corrected temperature, and controlling the discharge. SOLUTION: A plurality of battery modules 2 are housed in a blower duct 1, the outside air is taken in from an air inlet 3 with a cooling fan 5 and exhausted from an air outlet 4 for air cooling. In an assembled batter for an electric vehicle, the battery temperature of each battery module 2 is detected with a temperature sensor attached to the surface. The detected battery temperature is corrected by using a correction coefficient, based on cooling air velocity which is different at each set position. The dispersion range of corrected battery temperature is judged whether or not it is within the specified region. The assembled battery is controlled based on the judgement. For example, if the dispersion is small such as±1 deg.C or less, the lower limit total voltage can be lowered.
