PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a negative pressure in an ink tank in a desired range. SOLUTION: An ink tank 1 of which internal section is maintained in a negative pressure is communicated with an inner section of an ink jet head 4. A hole 7 communicated with the open air is formed on an upper section 1b of the ink tank 1. A partition 8 having elasticity provided in the inner section of the ink tank 1 separates the inner section into an ink chamber 9 and an air chamber 10. One end 11a of a lever 11 provided at the partition 8 is fixed to the inner wall of the upper section 1b and the other end 11b is fixed to the partition 8. When a temperature in the ink tank 1 becomes higher than a predetermined level by virtue of the change of the environment, the lever 11 is deformed such that the other end 11b raises toward the upper section 1b, then the partition 8 is moved to a direction whereby the volume of the air chamber 10 is decreased. |
