<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic document content-certification system, by which contents of a document are easily certified but the contents are not known by a third party. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic document A sent from a registered person's terminal 2 to a server 10 is added with inquiry information and stored in the server 10, and an electronically watermarked electronic document B including the inquiry information as electronic watermarks is sent back. The electronically watermarked electronic document B is printed by a printer 4 to be output as an electronically watermarked printed document 5. An identifier reads the printed document 5 with a scanner 6 of an identifier's terminal 3 and sends a scanned image C to the server 10. In the server 10, the inquiry information is extracted from the electronic watermarks in the scanned image C, and the electronic document A is searched by the inquiry information. the searched electronic document A and the electronic document extracted from the scanned image C are combined, and a visually different combined display image D for visually identifying the difference is generated and displayed on the identifier's terminal 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
