PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner wherein operation control information can be easily rewritten. SOLUTION: Version-up information transmitted from a control information rewriting device 97 is permitted to flow through a telephone circuit 85 as an analogue signal form before being converted into a digital signal in a modem 81, and is inputted to a communication conversion interface 91 via a ribbon cable 83. After being inputted to the communication conversion interface 91, the version-up information is converted within it into a signal form used between control means of air conditioner elements, and is supplied to a centralized ECU 93, an indoor side ECU 61 and an outdoor side ECU 71 through a bus line 3. The version-up information comprises an address signal, a rewriting voltage application signal, update data signal and the like, and type of a control means is specified by the address signal, and a present operation control information is erased by the rewriting voltage application signal and a new operation control information is written on a flash memory built in one kind of CPUs 94-96 by an information update signal. |
