SUBSTANCE: closed circuit is located in cylinder block of internal combustion engine and is formed by pneumatic cylinders communicating through channel. Pistons are placed inside pneumatic cylinders. Connecting rods of pistons are hinge-coupled with crankshaft in crankcase. Closed circuit is filled by air at gauge pressure. With engine operating, crankshaft moves pistons in pneumatic cylinders. Constant force acting onto crankshaft through connecting rods is converted by crankshaft into torque. EFFECT: enhanced ecological and performance characteristics of engine. 1 dwg
