FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: circular foundation is intended for tower-type structures erected on non-uniformly compressed bases. Circular foundation is made in the form of round slab with central opening. Geometric parameters of central opening depend on incline angle of rigid underlying layer, distance to edge of wedge, width of foundation ring, resilient properties of base. Central opening in slab takes the form of bevelled circle. Chord which cuts central opening is located at distance D from internal circumference which corresponds to line of segment being cut off in direction of increasing depth of base and which is determined according to relation brought forward in description of invention. Aforesaid embodiment of foundation yields uniform settling of tower-type structure under effect of vertical load, ensures uniform pliability of base with respect to alternating instant load, and allowing in practice for employing traditional methods of its arrangement.
