PURPOSE: A microwave oven is provided to be able to make a uniform beating and minimize the effect of a halogen lamp on the parts in the microwave oven. CONSTITUTION: The microwave oven comprises an upper halogen lamp(22) installed on the turn-table in the cavity and a lower halogen lamp(24) installed at the place which does hot overlap with the upper one. It is structured so that the light irradiated on the turn-table from the upper and lower light emitting devices may incident evenly on the turn table. The irradiation area of the upper halogen lamp includes the central part of the turn-table and the output of the lower halogen lamp is smaller than that of the upper halogen lamp to prevent a damage on the electrical parts from the heat.
