OVERHEATING PREVENTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An overheating preventing apparatus is provided to prevent the overheating due to the excessive carbon deposition reaction on the upper part of a reduction furnace and the local and concentrated reducing reaction of ores. CONSTITUTION: The overheating preventing apparatus comprises:a cooling gas pipe(12) to supply the reduction furnace exhausting gas cooled in a dust collecting device(7) to an annular pipe(11); many wind blowers(13) connected to the annular pipe by gas communicating pipe groups to supply exhaust gas to the upper part of the reduction furnace; a thermometer(14) to measure the temperature of the packing layer in the upper part of the reduction furnace; and a gas inflow amount control valve(15) operated by being connected with the temperature of the packing layer in the upper part of the reduction furnace measured by the thermometer.
