PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a determination method of a substrate adaptable to an once-disposable type biosensor and capable of excluding at least the irregularity of a background current. SOLUTION: In a determination method of a substrate, acting electrode potential E1 based on an opposed electrode is applied after a constant time is elapsed after the contact of a sample with a reaction layer to obtain a background current and, further, after a constant time is elapsed from the application of potential E1, a response current at potential E2 satisfying a condition of E2>E1 is obtained and the substrate is determined on the basis of the difference between the response current and the background current. |
