PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type projector device capable of reducing the deviation of registration caused by positional deviation among optical parts, and capable of projecting a high-resolution video. SOLUTION: White light emitted from a lamp 1 is separated into R, G and B light. The R, G and B light are polarized by polarizing prisms 9 to 11. The R, G and B light polarized by the polarizing prisms 9 to 11 are made incident on reflection type liquid crystal elements 12 to 14, and the R, G and B light are modulated and reflected to the polarizing prisms 9 to 11. The R, G and B light are synthesized by a synthesizing prism 22. The polarizing prisms 9 to 11, the reflection type liquid crystal elements 12 to 14 and the synthesizing prism 22 are formed to one block 50. |
