PURPOSE: An antibacterial artificial nail and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to protect nails from dust and germs by mixing antibacterial agent with ABS(acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) resin. CONSTITUTION: ABS graft copolymer(graft ABS) is obtained by copolymerizing butadiene latex with styrene and acrylonitrile. The graft ABS is solidified, dehydrated and desiccated to obtain ABS resin powder. 3-5wt%(with reference to total weight of pellet) of organic or inorganic antibacterial agent is added to 30-50wt% of this ABS resin powder and then mixed. This mixture is extruded as resin pellet. This resin pellet is injection-molded to obtain antibacterial artificial nail. |
