PURPOSE: A device for gaining an early motive of a W-CDMA(Wide band Code Division Multiple Access) system is provided to reduce time for detecting the location of diffused spectrum data, the phase of which is in accord with the phase of a PN(Pseudo Noise) code by reducing time for integrating. CONSTITUTION: A device for gaining an early motive of a W-CDMA(Wide band Code Division Multiple Access) system includes a parallel matched correlator(50). The parallel matched correlator(50) includes the first correlator portion(55), the second correlator portion(65), a multiplexor(58) and a parallel adding machine module(60). The first correlator portion(55) is composed of the first shift register(52) storing I data of the diffused spectrum data by each Tc clock with shifting them in order and the first latch portion(54) latching and storing the parallel PN_I code and the first multiplying portion(56) multiplying I data and PN_I code with groups of each chip by every Tc clock. The second correlator portion(65) is composed of the second shift register(52) storing Q data of the diffused spectrum data by each Tc clock with shifting them in order and the second latch portion(64) latching and storing the parallel PN_Q code and the second multiplying portion(66) multiplying Q data and PN_Q code with groups of each chip by every Tc clock. The multiplexor(58) outputs the result value of the first and second multiplying portion(56, 66) with groups of each chip by every Tc clock. The parallel adding machine module(60) adds the output of I or Q components and outputs the result of adding.
