PURPOSE: An active material composing binder for Li secondary cell is provided to enhance adhering force and cycle life by effectively reducing the content of polyvinylidene fluoride. CONSTITUTION: A Li secondary cell comprises an anode including an anode active material and first binder, a cathode including a cathode active material and second binder, and a nonaqueous electrolyte. At least one of the first and second binders includes polymethylmetacrylate. A portion of a polyvinylidene fluoride binder is replaced with polymethylmetacrylate. Polymethylmetacrylate is not separated from polyvinylidene fluoride when mixed together. The content of polymethylmetacrylate ranges 5 to 50wt%, and preferably 5 to 15wt%. If the content of polymethylmetacrylate is under 5wt%, an effect of adhering force enhancement is not shown. If the content is over 50wt%, the mixed composition becomes too rigid to be applied to electricity.
