Molded electrode method for production thereof and secondary battery using the electrode

A one-piece molded electrode is obtained by hot-pressing (a) an electrode material obtained by mixing a polymer active material, a conductivity-enhancing agent and a plasticizer, and (b) a current collector sheet. The electrode allows a high freedom for design, and a secondary battery which uses this electrode has a large energy density and a high power density.
