PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive household electric weeder selectively killing weeds such as cogon grown among a hedge or shrubberies without influencing useful plants and solved in the conventional problem that a fair high voltage is required as electricity for killing the weed and a commercial power system is in danger of being shocked when the commercial power supply voltage is simply used by boosting in relation to an electrical weed-destructing apparatus. SOLUTION: This weeder has a system slowly charging a capacitor or a secondary battery and finally instantaneously discharging and the influence on the system is removed.
