PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method by which a coating film is formed on an optional place of ruggedness of an objective material having the ruggedness on the surface without increasing the number of processes. SOLUTION: A mold 13' structured to approximate to an inverted shape of the rugged surface and to form a gap between the mold and a prescribed part of the rugged surface at the time of being in close contact with each other and having opening part communicated with the outside is brought into close contact with the rugged surface of the objective material 11 and a liquid coating material composition 15 is injected into the gap using the opening part and the injected coating material composition is cured.
