PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the variation of a laser beam in the direction of emission and to keep the accuracy of the position of the laser beam which is emitted from a semiconductor laser with a simple structure in an optical head used for an optical disk unit. SOLUTION: The optical head is structured so that a cylindrical holder is force-fitted to the outer peripheral part of the semiconductor laser 1, the emitting direction 6 of the laser beam 5 is so adjusted that the beam is vertical to the end face of the cylindrical holder, and the laser beam 5 is positioned by fitting the external form of the cylindrical holder to a case 8. |
