摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium-iron phosphate compound as a positive electrode material for a lithium secondary battery with a large initial capacity and giving birth to a secondary battery of a high discharge capacity even at discharge under a large current.

SOLUTION: The positive electrode material for the lithium secondary battery is a lithium phosphate group compound with an olivine structure capable of storing or releasing lithium, in which a part of phosphorous and/or oxygen atoms is substituted with sulfur atoms.
