<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust or the like from sticking on a can lid, to prevent a content from dropping after a can is opened, and to easily remove an overcap by grasping a skirt part of the overcap without providing a knob or the like, in the overcap made of a plastic for covering the vicinity of the can lid which can be easily opened in a can container. <P>SOLUTION: An annular projecting part 13 is formed on the top board part of the overcap 1 so that the annular projecting part 13 is brought into contact with only the vicinity part of the panel part 24 of the can lid 23. The skirt part 16 of the overcap 1 is formed into an approximately cylindrical shape with approximately the same inner diameter as the outer diameter in the vicinity of the lower end of a neck part 22 of a can container 2.
