A TDR(Time Domain Reflectometry) apparatus using a low-speed clock generator and a low-speed A/D converter is provided to obtain the same sampling effect as a high-speed clock generator at a low cost using a low-speed clock generator. A TDR apparatus(10) consists of a clock generation unit(101), a pulse generation unit(103), a signal amplification unit(105), a signal transmit-receive unit(107), an A/D converter(109), an analyzed signal generation unit(111), a signal formation unit(113), a display unit(115), and a control unit(117). The clock generation unit(101) periodically generates a clock. The pulse generation unit(103) generates a pulse signal having a cycle on the basis of the clock inputted from the clock generation unit(101). The signal amplification unit(105) amplifies the pulse signal generated from the pulse generation unit(103). The signal transmit-receive unit(107) sends the amplified pulse signal to an LUT, and receives a reflected signal returned from the LUT. The A/D converter(109) receives the amplified pulse signal and the reflected signal from the signal transmit-receive unit(107) and converts them into digital signals. The analyzed signal generation unit(111) generates an analyzed signal in line with the cycle of a pulse generated from the pulse generation unit(103). The signal formation unit(113) combines a complete pulse signal, based on the sampling data obtained from the A/D converter(109).
