PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for making a reservation for a reserved seat ticket including the change of the type of a boarding ticket from a non-reserved seat ticket to a reserved seat ticket in the boarding platform of a target train when it is possible to confirm the actual number of residual reserved seats or the level of congestion of a train in which a passenger is getting. SOLUTION: This train ticket classification transfer system, a reserved seat ticket transfer terminal to be operated by a passenger is provided with a display part which shows the number of residual seats whose seat reservation is possible with symbols. The number of residual seats in a real time is transmitted to a reserved seat ticket transfer terminal each time the train seat information to be managed by a center system is updated, and the number of residual seats is displayed based on the information by the reserved seat ticket transfer terminal. Thus, it is possible to solve the problem that when the passenger acquires the reserved seat by performing his or her own system operation before getting in a train, the notification of the impossibility of reservation in the middle of the process of an interactive operation with a center which performs reservation management due to the non-disclosure of information changing moment to moment results in the extreme deterioration of operability for the passenger when there is not any time to spare before getting in the train. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a boarding ticket transfer system to a reserved seat for improving the convenience of a passenger who is not familiar with the operation by making it unnecessary for the passenger to go to a station window.
