PATH SWITCHING METHOD, PATH SWITCHING CONTROL APPARATUS, AND PATH SWITCHING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a path switching method for minimizing the occurrence of momentary interruption so as to reduce the effect given onto delivered traffic in a process of a dynamic path switching wherein a path of a subordinate layer is properly added or deleted and a path arrangement with an excellent band accommodation efficiency is obtained by recalculating pathway of paths of a superordinate layer succeedingly in a network wherein a plurality of user groups exist.

SOLUTION: In the network wherein the superordinate layer and the subordinate layer exist, at least two routers of the superordinate layer connected to a switch of the subordinate layer exist, and at least one user group that is defined to exchange traffic with a user belonging to the same group and not to exchange the traffic with users belonging to the other groups in the network exist, after the traffic is switched, the old superordinate layer path and the deletable old subordinate layer paths are deleted.
