PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape feed mechanism, and a tape processing device, capable of preventing jammed tape from damaging the tape feed mechanism. SOLUTION: This tape feed mechanism is provided with a base frame 43 composing a tape travel passage 55 on the surface, a feed roller 102 facing the tape travel passage 55 through an opening 54 formed in the base frame 43 to feed a braille tape T on the tape travel passage 55, and a roller cover 126 disposed on the back surface of the base frame 43 to cover the feed roller 102. The roller cover 126 is formed to guide the braille tape T jam-fed to the back side of the base frame 43 from the opening 54 to an inner circumferential surface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
