PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the size of the whole device in the direction perpendicular to the sliding direction of a piston. SOLUTION: A flushing device 1 for a lighting fixture of a vehicle is equipped with a cylinder 2 supplied with flushing solution, a piston 3 having internally a solution passage 3a and coupled with the cylinder slidably, a nozzle part 5 having a jet 511 to jet the flushing solution, a spring means 24 interposed between the piston and the cylinder and energizing the piston in the direction of drawing into the cylinder, and a check valve part 4 interposed between the nozzle part and the piston, wherein the check valve part is equipped with a solution influx part 412a arranged in series to the sliding direction of the piston, a valve installing part 411, and a solution outflow part 413a, and in the valve installing part a valve element 43 is installed to open and close the communication between the solution influx part and the outflow part, and at least one part of the valve element moves in the direction approximately perpendicular to the sliding direction of the piston so as to open and close the communication between the solution influx part and outflow part.
