PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating vessel capable of being kept for a long time and safely heating water for tea, coffee, instant food or the like without using fire at a time of disaster or outdoors. SOLUTION: A safe vessel is provided, in which drinking water capable of being kept for a long time, an aqueous solution for accelerating a reaction, and unslaked lime are arranged. Shifting an upper aqueous solution vessel breaks a film to mix the unslaked lime with the aqueous solution, so that the resultant reaction heat boils the drinking water and it can be viewed through a steam hole.
