PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish having a shape being hardly fractured against an impact applied to an edge portion and provide a manufacturing method of the tableware having the shape being hardly fractured against the impact applied to the edge portion. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the dish which has a shape with improved impact- and fracture-resistance includes: processes for forming the dish having a shape formed with a projecting part having a cross-sectional circular arc part in the inner face of the dish consisting of a brittle material, forming the dish consisting of the brittle material and fracturing it by applying an impact to the edge portion of the tableware; specifying a stress concentration point based on the defected portion of the edge and the shape of the fractured tableware; and forming it into a shape that is formed with a projection part having the cross-sectional circular arc portion in a position farther from the upper edge of the dish and closer to the central point from the stress concentration point.
