PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf apparatus capable of processing an electric cord of an electrical appliance without exposing it frontward. SOLUTION: The shelf apparatus has front panels 19a-19e held and fixed on a back panel 3 mounted on a wall face 2, side covers covering both end faces in the width direction of the back panel and the front panel, intermediate rail members 14 which have holding grooves and are provided over the whole length in the width direction of the front panel exposing the holding groove on the front face of the front panel, shelf boards 32 which are engaged and held on the holding groove of the intermediate rail member on the front face of the front panel and on which the electrical appliance 43 to which the electric cord is connected is placed on the upper face, and notches 23 for passing the electric cord connected to the electrical appliance from the end in the width direction of the front panel to the back face side and inserting the cord from the lower end of the side cover to the outside.
