Titanium-based amorphous nanopowders are provided to be produced by a very simple and controllable selective corrosion method and have a spherical shape and a smooth surface. Ti-based amorphous nanopowders is represented by a chemical formula of Ti_(100-a-b-c-d)Al_aCo_bY_cI_d, wherein a, b, c, and d satisfy 10<=a<=30, 10<=b<=30, 1<=c<=10, and 0.1<=d<=5 in terms of atom%, and I is an impurity. The Ti-based amorphous nanopowders are prepared by the steps of: melting and mixing Ti, Y, Al, Co, and other impurity; cooling the molten metals to form two-phase amorphous alloys; and removing a continued base of the two-phase amorphous alloys by selective corrosion to form amorphous powders. |
