An optical pick-up apparatus is provided to keep an optical pickup apart from the surface of an optical disc regularly by reciprocating two ends of a spindle motor base based on circle track around a contact point. An optical pick-up apparatus comprises a first screw shaft(141), a second screw shaft(144), guide feeders(142,143), and a tilt cam unit. The first screw shaft is rotated by a motor(140). The second screw shaft has a gear unit at least one end thereof. The guide feeder transmits torque of the first screw shaft to the second screw shaft. The tilt cam supports a spindle motor base and converting rotation of the motor into reciprocation, engaging with the gear unit. The guide feeder includes a first guide feeder and a second guide feeder. The first guide feeder moves straight on the first screw shaft. The second screw shaft is connected with the first guide feeder to rotate the second screw shaft by converting straight movement into rotational movement. |
