A socket is provided to separate electric connection spaces for anodes and cathodes from one another, thereby preventing electric interference such as short-circuit caused by erroneously connecting the anodes and the cathodes. A pair of insertion holes(22), into which male type anode and cathode connection terminals of a load side are inserted, are formed in one side of a base element(20). A pair of receiving portions(24) are formed in the other side of the base element(20) correspondingly to the insertion holes(22). The receiving portions(24) have female type anode and cathode connection terminals distanced from each other. Covering elements(30) cover the receiving portions, individually.
