<p>An electron emission device and an electron emission display are provided to minimize a spreading effect of electron beams by emitting directly electron beams from an electron emission source. An electron emission device includes a substrate, a cathode electrode, an electron emission part(20), a plurality of first shielding electrodes(14), and a plurality of second shielding electrodes(18). The cathode electrode is formed on the substrate. The electron emission part is electrically connected to the cathode electrode. A first insulating layer(12) is formed between the cathode electrode and the first shielding electrodes. A second insulating layer(16) is formed between the first shielding electrodes and the second shielding electrodes. The arranged direction of the first shielding electrode is perpendicular to the arranged direction of the second shielding electrode. A plurality of unit pixels are formed in an intersection between the first and second shielding electrodes.</p> |
