<p>An image-forming apparatus is provided to improve the workability for taking out a recording medium discharged on an upper surface of a body frame, by installing an operating unit for operating an image-reading unit at an upstream side of a discharge direction of the recording medium. An image-forming unit is housed in a body frame(12), and forms an image on a recording medium(P). A discharging unit is housed in the body frame, and discharges the recording medium, on which an image is formed by the image-forming apparatus, to an upper discharge part of the body frame. An image-reading unit(200) is installed above the discharge unit to read an image of a manuscript. An operating unit(210) is installed at an upstream side of the discharge part, in a direction in which the recording medium is discharged. The image-reading unit is operated by the operating unit. Lateral sides and a rear side of the discharge part are opened, when viewed from the operating part side.</p> |
