<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool which can be wound with a wire so that the wire is smoothly unwound and smoothly supplied even when the length of the wire wound around the spool increases. <P>SOLUTION: The spool comprises a drum to be wound with the wire and flange parts provided at both ends. The drum part is characterized in that the drum parts adjacent to the flanges and a center part are concentric and cylindrical differing in diameter and the drum parts adjacent tot he flanges and the center are united together with gentle oblique surfaces; and the diameter of the drum parts adjacent to the flanges is larger than the diameter of the center and smaller than the diameter of the flanges and the angles between the center and gentle oblique surfaces is 10 to 60°. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
