FIELD: electricity; mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: device includes welding torch with transverse vibration mechanism. The above mechanism is represented with tubular coiled spring 1. One end of the tubular coiled spring is connected with the housing 2 where inlet channel 3 for cooling liquid supply into the inner space of coiled spring and output channel 4 for liquid discharge, is available. The other end of the tubular coiled spring is fixed to the bracket 6. There is a channel 8 for liquid supply to welding torch and a channel 9 for liquid discharge from the torch in the bracket. An adjusting screw 11 with variable cross section is installed in connection pipe 10. Electrode vibrations are adjusted due to pressure change in the inner space of the tubular coiled spring as a result of cross section dimension increase or decrease by means of adjusting screw. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of weld joints due to welding by electrode transverse vibrations. ^ 2 dwg
