PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cover from being opened when a force is applied to a sheet tray in an open position in a direction such that the sheet tray is further opened in a structure where the sheet tray is rotatably supported by the cover.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device includes: a cover which is supported by a housing so as to open and close; a sheet tray supported by the cover; and a mechanism which converts a force applied to the sheet tray in a gravity direction to a force applied in a direction such that the cover is closed in a state where the cover is closed and the sheet tray is opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
