A display apparatus that may enable sensing a multi-touch and a proximity object is provided. The display apparatus may display an image generated by the object on an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display panel, and may sense an invisible light that may be reflected by the object and may have entered through a hole.

1. A display apparatus, comprising:
an organic light emitting diode (OLED) illumination unit configured to emit light, the OLED illumination unit comprising a plurality of OLEDs disposed in an encapsulation layer, and a substrate disposed over the encapsulation layer; a sensor panel disposed on a lower part of the OLED illumination unit and configured to sense at least one of invisible light reflected from an object to be sensed and a shadow of the object; a photoconductive layer, disposed on the sensor panel and configured to sense at least one of the invisible light and the shadow; and a hole extending through the substrate and the encapsulation layer, and configured to transmit the invisible light to the photoconductive layer disposed on the sensor panel.
