The present invention relates to a device for detecting a life span of an ion filter for a fuel cell vehicle to detect a replacement life span of an ion filter cartridge of a fuel cell. The device of the present invention comprises: a mesh cylindrical body attached in an ion filter, and filling an ion resin inside the mesh cylindrical body; a checker provided in the mesh cylindrical body to be movable to one side and the other side, and of which one end is exposed to the outside of the mesh cylindrical body, and the other end is inserted inside the mesh cylindrical body; and an elastic member provided between the other end of the checker and the mesh cylindrical body, and pushing the checker from the one side to the other side by elasticity.
