PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinylidene chloride-based copolymer that has a lower crystalline melting point than a conventional copolymer having the same composition and comprising vinylidene chloride and methyl acrylate, while maintaining stable extrusion moldability.SOLUTION: A vinylidene chloride-based copolymer has 90 to 97 mass% of vinylidene chloride and 3 to 10 mass% of methyl acrylate, as monomer units. In the vinylidene chloride-based copolymer, the relation expressed by Y≤175-3x is satisfied, provided that: Y (°C) is a crystalline melting point of the vinylidene chloride-based copolymer, measured by differential scanning calorimetry; and x (mass%) is a content of the monomer unit based on the methyl acrylate. |
