PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate device which can appropriately collect a passage ticket in which ticket information is printed on a ticket surface with a bar code.SOLUTION: An automatic ticket gate 2 causes a QR ticket information reader unit 23 to read passenger ticket information from a QR ticket, and then determines whether the passenger ticket information is appropriate. If the passenger ticket information read from the QR ticket by the QR ticket information reader unit 23 is appropriate, the automatic ticket gate 2 causes a QR ticket collection unit 24 to start an operation of collecting the QR ticket. After the QR ticket collection unit 24 collects the QR ticket, the automatic ticket gate 2 causes a gate open-close unit 27 to open a gate to permit passage of the user. |
