TWO-TAB CUFF CLOSURE

The two tab cuff closure is a closure for the sleeve(s) of a shirt. The two tabs are positioned on one edge of the cuff and will connect to fasteners (normally buttons) that are positioned on the opposing cuff edge. The double tab design ensures that the cuff fabric will lay flat and not pucker or bulge. A second embodiment of the cuff closure shows the tab structure arrangement adapted for utilization with cuff links or buttons.

1. A two-tab cuff closure, comprising:
an elongated fabric strip having opposing ends, the strip being adapted for being sewn to an end of a shirt sleeve to form a cuff, the strip having a split first end defining a pair of tabs extending from the first end parallel to each other, each of the tabs having a fastener opening defined therein; and a pair of fastener members disposed at a second end of the elongated strip opposite the split first end, the fastener members being laterally spaced to extend vertically away from the end of the shirt sleeve; whereby the tabs are positionable over the second end of the elongated fabric strip with the fastener openings aligned with the fastener members in order to releasably close the cuff.
