PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens which is compact and has high optical performance when focusing on a subject at a different subject distance.SOLUTION: A zoom lens comprises, in an order from an object side to an image side: a first lens group with positive refractive power; a second lens group with negative refractive power; a third lens group with the positive refractive power; a fourth lens group with the negative refractive power; a fifth lens group with the positive refractive power; and a sixth lens group with the negative refractive power. In the zoom lens, a distance between the lens groups next to each other is changed when zooming. When focusing from infinity to an extremely close range, the sixth lens group is moved with focus sensitivity thereof, a focal length thereof, and a moving distance thereof when zooming from a wide-angle end to a telephoto end appropriately set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
