PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a butene-based polymer having short crystal transition time from II type crystal to I type crystal.SOLUTION: The butene-based polymer is provided that has a content of a 1-butene unit of 60 to 100 mol% and a total content of ethylene and at least one kind of olefin-derived constitutional unit selected from α-olefin other than 1-butene having 3 to 20 carbon atoms (K) of 0 to 40 mol%, where the total of the content of the 1-butene unit and the total content (K) is 100 mol%, and that satisfies requirements (i) to (iii). (i) intrinsic viscosity [η] is 0.1 to 6 dl/g. (ii) percentage of a component having molecular weight measured by GPC (Gel Permeation Chromatography) is 10000 or less.
