Provided are a method for monitoring a license assist access cell, equipment and a base station. The method comprises: a user equipment receiving notification signalling from a base station, the notification signalling being used for notifying the user equipment to monitor a target LAA cell, and after the user equipment receives the notification signalling, monitoring a designated signal of the target LAA cell, or after a base station fails in competition for a target LAA cell, acquiring a predicted use time for using the target LAA cell by a network element succeeding in competition, and sending notification signalling to a user equipment which is monitoring the target LAA cell, the notification signalling comprising a use time for the target LAA cell, and the user equipment not monitoring the target LAA cell within the use time, such that it is unnecessary to continuously monitor or receive signals of the LAA cell, and the power consumption can be reduced. |
