An electric power router (100) for asynchronously connecting an electric power cell to an external electric power system is provided with: a direct-current bus (10) the voltage of which is maintained at a prescribed nominal value; and electric power converting legs (11) to (13), one end of each of which is connected to the direct-current bus (10), and the other end of each of which is connected to an external connection counterpart, the electric power converting legs converting the electric power between the one end and the other end thereof. The electric power input into and output from the electric power converting legs is set on the basis of the characteristics of the electric power converting legs, and it is thus possible to provide an electric power router and an electric power network system in which the electric power converting legs are used efficiently.
