PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen generating body that enables easy production of hydrogen water in a general household or at a place outside the home, and to provide a hydrogen water production method and a method for adding hydrogen to a liquid.SOLUTION: A hydrogen generating body comprises a waterproof container enclosing water, and a pouch allowing penetration of hydrogen molecules and enclosing the container and magnesium dihydride. A hydrogen water production method includes, applying an external force to a pouch, enclosing magnesium dihydride and a waterproof container enclosing a liquid and allowing penetration of hydrogen molecules, to destroy the container; placing the pouch in a vessel containing water; and closing a lid of the vessel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
