PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging element capable of forming a plurality of high resolution images observing an object space at the same time from different pupil regions while the number of pixels is small.SOLUTION: An imaging element 104 includes: a plurality of pixels, each of which includes at least one photoelectric conversion part 202 (a,b, ..); and transmittance distribution giving means 103 (a,b, ..) for giving transmittance distribution corresponding to light incidence angle to at least some of the plurality of pixels. When a first pixel and all second pixels adjacent to the first pixel, out of the plurality of pixels, are collectively referred to an adjacent pixel group, a plurality of adjacent pixel groups include a pixel having four or more types of transmittance distribution different from one another.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
